A self taught artist, I began  painting when I moved to Pinehurst just over 20 years ago. As my skills developed and I began to see the world through an artist's eye, the beauty of nature became my inspiration and muse.  Clients are often surprised by the wide range of my subjects and painting styles which vary from very detailed and realistic animals and wildlife, to lose and color filled impressionistic paintings of my travels. Working in oils and more recently in watercolors too, the beauty of a simple bird's nest, timeless Tuscan landscapes, all things Provencal, and animals, serve to inspire my creative spirit.  Indeed, my love of animals has served me well and plays an important part in my commission portfolio and artistic endeavors.  I hope you will see the beauty of nature and the wisdom and joy of the natural world in my work.  Enjoy the journey.......and welcome!
